Steven Kwan was born on September 5, 1997 and is a Major League Baseball (MLB) player for the Cleveland Guardians. Steven made his MLB debut in 2022.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Steven played three years of college baseball at Oregon State (2015-18) and was a member of OSU’s 2018 national championship team before being selected by the Cleveland Indians in the fifth round of the 2018 MLB draft. Steven was a member of Cleveland’s minor league system for four years before making their MLB opening day roster in 2022. Steven quickly made an impact and became part of the starting lineup, playing all three outfield positions throughout the course of his rookie campaign. Following the conclusion of his rookie year, Steven earned a Gold Glove Award for his defense in left field and was a finalist for the American League Rookie of the Year award. When he is not playing baseball, Steven enjoys reading, journaling and playing board games with family and friends.
